The Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited ( UPPCL ) recruitment 2017 has released a notice regarding the vacancies for the post of office assistants and stenographers of grade 3. The candidates who are interested for the mentioned posts can apply for the same at the official website that is uppcl.org. The application fees of Rs 1000 is required for the application of general category candidates. The application process for the same begins on July 2 and will take place till August 12, 2017 and the written examination for the posts will be conducted from the first half of September 2017. The posts available for the same are as follows: Office assistants grade III is 2402 and Stenographers grade III is 260.
The candidates will be selected on the basis of a typing and written examination and all the candidates will be required to appear for two exams respectively. The written test (CBT) will take place in both Hindi and English. The first round will contain 50 CCC level questions of NIELIT of one mark each with negative marking of 0.25 marks. For office assistants, the question paper of round 2 will contain 180 questions which are for one mark each and there is a negative marks of 0.25 marks. This paper will include questions on-
- Logical Reasoning that will contain 25 marks
- General knowledge that will contain 45 marks
- General English (intermediate level) for 55 marks
- General Hindi (intermediate level) for 55 marks
