TET West Bengal 2017 notification released on the official website of the Board. The candidates who want to appear for the examination of Teacher Eligibility Test of the West Bengal Board of primary education can now register themselves through wbbpe.org and wbsed.gov.in. As per the official notification, the last date for the application submission is 29 October. And the West Bengal Primary education Board has released the application form to fill approximately 30,000 vacancies in primary school. To appear for the WBTET exam General Category Candidates have to score at least 50 percent. And the reserved category students of SC, ST and OBC need to score 45 percent in their Higher Secondary and Senior Secondary examination along with the diploma.
However, this year the West Bengal Board Of Primary Education has provided the relaxation of five percent in the Higher Secondary examination cut-off marks to the reserved category students. And it has also provided the five percent relaxation for the family members of a state government employees. After clearing the teacher eligibility test candidates have to complete a two-year teacher’s training programme.
The candidates can now visit the official website of the West Bengal Board to check the official notification that includes the information regarding the application form, eligibility criteria, selection process and the last date of submission. For the selection in the WBTET general category students have to secure 60 percent marks and the reserved category students need to score 55 percent in TET exam. It is very important Teacher’s test which is mandatory for getting teaching jobs in state-aided primary schools.
