10th result 2017 Tamilnadu declared : Check out tnresults.nic.in

Tamil Nadu School Education Department has finally declared the results of class 10th board examination  2017 on its official website. With a view to provide relief to students, to save students from “stress”, Tamil Nadu education department stopped naming the top 3 rank holders of the SSLC and Plus Two (class 10 and class 12). Government of Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations declared the HSC results last week without naming the top rank holders.

A few days back the the results for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Plus two exams were declared. More than 8 lakh candidates have appeared this year. This year’s overall pass percentage for the HSC exams stood at 92.1 per cent. Girl, who scored a pass percentage of 94.5 per cent, fared better than boys whose pass percentage was 89.3 per cent. A new system have also took place for the result declaration in Tamil Nadu. Now the students can get their results sitting at their living rooms. Gone are the days when students used to stand near the notice board for hours in the scorching heat.

The introduction of declaring results through SMS by the Tamil Nadu government was welcomed by several parents who felt it was much easier experience for their kids.This year, however, the decision of the state government to provide Class XII results through SMS went one step ahead to reduce any anguish and helped students get their marks with a simple message.

Less than 10 minutes after the officials unveiled the results in Chennai, most parents received details of the marks on their registered mobile numbers -a neat break-up of marks in theory and practicals and total.

Step 2: Click on the results link
Step 3: Enter your exam registration details
Step 4: See your results after submitting it.
