SSC also known as Staff Selection Commission has started its recruitment process for the Scientific Assistant in India Meteorological Department Examination, 2017. The candidates who are interested for the job many keep in kind that the application will be accepted at the official website that is www.ssconline.nic.in. The application for the job will be available from July 18, 2017 and the availability will end on August 8, 2017. The candidates who are interested will have to provide a challan and the end date for its generation is 4th August, 2017 till 5PM and last date for the payment through SBI challan is 8th August, 2017 till 5 PM.
The Staff Selection Commission will conduct an open competitive examination for recruitment to the post of Scientific Assistant in IMD, Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post, in the Level 6 of the Pay Matrix (Pay Band2 (Rs 9300-34800) plus Grade Pay Rs 4200 in pre-revised scale), from November 20-27 in computer based mode all over the country.
The fee for the examination is Rs 100 which the interested candidates need to pay by August 8. The examination will be conducted at exam centres in Jammu, Bhopal, Ahmedabad, Guntur, Itanagar, Almora, Bangalore, Gangtok and Agra. Candidates will not be allowed to carry phones, calculators and other electronic devices inside the examination hall. The examinations will be conducted from November 21 to November 27, 2017.
