The SSC result is expected to release today. The result will be displayed for the written examination to recruit Scientific Assistant in India Meteorological Department (IMD). The exam was scheduled from November 22 to November 25, 2017. The result is going to be displayed by today as the information states. An official notification was released in the end of January which confirms that the result will be released today for the India Meteorological Department. The mode of exam was online. It was a computer based open competitive examination for recruitment to Group B Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post of Scientific Assistant in India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Candidates must follow the steps given below for checking the result:

- Candidate will find a link of the IMD Scientific Assistant 2017 in the tab.
- A pdf file will open where the link will b provided.
- Candidate has to fill all the details.
- By doing all this, the result will be displayed on the screen.
The exam pattern of the exam was that there are 200 questions each question will carry one marks and the total duration of the exam will be two hours. The exam was divided into two parts, where the first part contained the four divisions each of 25 marks. The four parts are as such General Intelligence and Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language and Comprehension, General Awareness. Part two of the exam will contain the 100 marks which will be composed of the Physics, Computer Science and Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. Candidates must fill only those answers which they are sure of as filling of wrong answer will contain negative marks. Candidates must regularly visit the website for all the updates. SSC had announced a total vacancy of 1102 posts for this recruitment.
