SSC CGL 2017 How to Apply

The candidates who are not exempted from paying examination fee may submit the
requisite fee through State Bank of India only either in the form of challan, generated on line,or through SBI Net Banking. Payment can also be made through any Credit or Debit Card.

All Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe,
Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from
paying application fee, as per extant government orders.

SSC CGL 2017 Examination Scheme / Pattern

The Examination will be conducted in four tiers as indicated below :
Tier I – Computer Based Examination ( Objective )
Tier II – Computer Based Examination ( Objective )
Tier III – Pen and Paper Mode (Descriptive paper) ( Subjective )
Tier IV – Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable)/

SSC CGL 2017 Advertised Posts / Vacancies

Posts have been advertised in various departments including Indian Audit & Accounts Department under CAG , Intelligence Bureau, Central Secreteriat Service Department, Ministry of Railways , Ministry of External Affairs, AFHQ, CBDT, CBEC, Central Bureau of Investigation, Enforcement Directorate Department of Revenue, Department of Post, National Investigating Agency etc.

SSC CGL 2017 Citizenship Requirement

Candidate must fall under the criteria of the following points : –
– a citizen of India, or
– a subject of Nepal, or
– a subject of Bhutan, or

– a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the Ist January, 1962 with the
intention of permanently settling in India, or

– a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka,
East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (
Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar ), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and
Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Provided that provides a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of
India.

SSC CGL 2017 Exam Dates

Tentative schedule for ssc cgl 2017 exam is as follows :

Last date for registration 16th June 2017
SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam 1st Aug to 20th Aug 2017
SSC CGL Tier-2 Exam 10th-11th November 2017
SSC CGL Tier-3 Exam 21st January 2018
Skill Test/Computer Skill Test February 2018
