SSC CGL Tier 1 result 2017 date, syllabus and marking scheme released at ssc.nic.in

The Staff Selection Commission has announced that it will declare the results for SSC Combined Graduate Level 2017 Tier 1 examination on October 31, 2017. The candidates who have appeared for the examination and are looking forward to check their result online can visit the official website, ssc.nic.in. The examination of the Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Tier-I were conducted between August 5 and August 23, 2017 across the country. The Commission earlier announced that it will release its answer keys on September 18.

A total of 15,43,962 candidates appeared in the examination as per the records of Staff Selection Commission and it has conducted the examination in 43 batches. The main aim of releasing the answer key is to help the candidates analyze their performance which will also help the candidates to have an idea of their result too.

The candidates who wish to check their result online can follow the steps mentioned: Firstly, visit the official website, ssc.nic.in and then click on the Declaration of Result of Combined Graduate Level (Tier-I) examination, 2017 that will be flashing on the home page of the site. A pdf file with the name and roll number of the candidates will be downloaded and the candidates can check their names on the list which is available. The candidates are advised to save the pdf file for future references.

The examination is conducted completely online where a total of 100 marks will be there with the weightage of 2 marks each and the candidates need to complete the examination within 1 hour. The paper is divided into four parts: A,B,C,D with 25 questions in each section. The first part has questions on general intelligence and reasoning, the second part on general awareness, the third part on quantitative aptitude and the forth part on English comprehension. The candidates will also be negatively marked for 0.50 for each of the wrong answer.
