RSMSSB application forms have been released for the post of Informatics Assistant. Candidates who are interested must apply for this before the last date. Application forms will be available until April 6, 2018. Aspirants must make use of this opportunity. The total number of vacancies available is 1302. The vacancies for the Informatics Assistant in Non-TSP area is 1165 whereas in the TSP is 137 posts. Candidates who is filling the application form must check that the person has all the criteria which is required for a certain post. The specific date of exam is yet not declared. Once the application form will be closed, the exact date of exam will be declared.
The application fees for this exam for General category is 450 whereas for the SC/ST is 250. This exam requires an age limit of 21 years to 40 years. Candidates must check all the eligibility criteria for filling the exam. The backward classes usually get an advantage in the age limit criteria. The OBC has an age relaxation of 3 years whereas for SC, ST it is 5 years. The educational qualification required for this is B.Tech or Diploma in Computer Science. The candidate who is applying must know Typing in Hindi as well as in English at a speed of 20 words per minute.
The selection for the post of Informatics Assistant will be made on the basis of written test and Merit list. Candidates who will qualify the written test must have all other criteria which is required and then the qualified names will appear in the Merit list. The pay scale for this is 26300. RSMSSB question paper will contain questions from the Computer and Informatics knowledge. Total marks of the paper 1 is 100 marks and the duration of the exam is 3 hours. Paper 2 will check the Typing speed in Hindi and English as well for a duration of 15 minutes.
