Punjab Board 12th compartment result 2017 is declared on the official website of Board i.e., pseb.ac.in. Students those who have failed in the annual exam and had appeared for the compartment examination of Punjab Board can now access their result from the official website. The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has conducted the compartment exam in June and the result of the annual exam was declared in the month of May 2017. This year approximately 35% students have reappeared for the compartment examination of Board. In the annual result of the Board girls again outshone over boys with the passing percentage of 72.59 while the passing percentage of the boys was 54.42.

This year number of students have failed because of the new policy of calculating marks by not providing any grace marks to the students. As the last year, it had been the controversy for the Board to give 27 extra marks to the students to improve their passing percentage. This year Amish Arora and Prabhjot Joshi from Ludhiana topped the annual examination of Punjab Board. While the overall pass percentage was dipped this year as compared to last year percentage that was 76.77% and this year it stood at 62.36%. It the lowest percentage in the last three years.
