NIT has released the official notification for the post of Assistant Professor on their official website. This aims to hire candidates for the post of Assistant Professor in Engineering, Science/Humanities and Social Sciences, Business Administration and Computer Applications Department. The candidate’s have to submit the application form by February 23, 2018. The selected candidates will be receiving a monthly salary of 42800 with the 9,500 as Aggregate Grade Pay (AGP). Candidates who belong to General category has to pay 1000 for the application form while the other categories application form is 500. The minimum educational qualification required for applying to this post is Ph.D.
The candidate has to download the application form and submit it to the registrar of the university. The educational qualification also acquires the UG and the PG degree at a 60% relevancy. The selection will take place on the basis of interview. The candidate who are representable will be selected for this. The number of assistant professor required for the post of electrical engineering is three, for the mechanical engineering is two, electronics and communication engineering is eight, computer engineering is ten, Physics is two, Maths is two, Humanities and social science is one, Business administration is three and computer application is five.
Candidates can visit the official website for downloading the application form. No written test will be taken for the applicants. The major selection will take place on the basis of interview and the way the selected candidates represent themselves. The selection will take place for the post of assistant professor in the different field. The applicants must have good degree qualification and that too 60% marks scored in their specialized subjects. The selected candidates will receive a whooping amount of 42800 as their monthly salary.
