NEET Result 2017 to be declared at cbseneet.nic.in

The NEET (National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test) result 2017 has been delayed due to some discussion on the 8 bonus marks to be awarded for ambiguous questions. Students who have appeared for NEET 2017 examinations can check their result on the official website of CBSE i.e. http://cbseresults.nic.in and http://cbseneet.nic.in.

Earlier according to officials the NEET result was set to declare on Tuesday. But it got delayed later and was withdrawn from the official website because of 8 extra marks given for ambiguous questions. Although the Board has not confirmed any date for the NEET result declaration. It is to be said that the Board had delayed it beyond June 26.

Last week Supreme Court directed NEET to declare result as soon as possible. Where CBSE has stated that they need two weeks to declare the results. Whereas the OMR and the answer keys were available from the last week on the official website of CBSE. There were separate petitions were filed at the Madras and Gujarat High Courts by the medical aspirants for demanding cancellation of NEET 2017 as the Gujarati and Tamil medium paper were allegedly tougher than the English and Hindi medium. On May 24 the Madras High Court stayed proceedings on NEET due to which the result, OMR Sheet and answer keys release were delayed this year.

This year exam was conducted on May 7 in 10 different languages including English and Hindi. NEET examination conducts to get admission in the MBBS and BDS courses across India. As per the stats of last year about 1,71,329 students of the general class who qualified the admissions in medical and dental colleges.
