NEET 2018: Medical Students Get Ready Counselling to begin from 13th June, 2018

On 4th June the NEET results and cut-off marks were declared and now the schedule for the NEET counselling 2018 has been released by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) at their official website mcc.nic.in.  Candidates who have cleared their NEET exams need to register themselves with the authorities for participating in the NEET 2018 counselling process. Only those students who have qualified NEET 2018 by scoring the minimum qualifying percentage will only be invited for the counselling.

For the General catagory the minimum clearing percentage for eligibility to sit in the counselling is 50 percent and 40 percentile for SC/ST/OBC while 45 percent for General-PH.

According to the official NEET website the candidates applying for the NEET Counselling 2018 should take the following documents with them for the verification process for admission, the documents include – NEET 2018 admit card, Rank letter of NEET 2018, Class 10 &12 certificates along with marksheet, ID Proof, 8 Passport size photos, Provisional allotment letter, Community Certificate (if applicable).

Here are the Tentative Dates for NEET 2018 Counselling:

1st Round:

Regestration/Payment & Choice Filling: 13th June to 18th June upto 05:00PM of 18th June 2018. Payment facility will be available till 19th June 2018 upto 12:00 Noon

Choice Filling/Locking: 19th June 2018 (10:00AM to 05:00PM)

Processing of Seat Allotment: 20th June 2018 to 21st June 2018

Result: 22nd June 2018

Reporting: 23rd June 2018 to 3rd July 2018

2nd Round:

Regestration/Payment & Choice Filling: 6th July 2018 to 8th July 2018 till 05:00PM. Payment facility will be available till 9th July 2018 till 12:00Noon

Choice Filling/Locking: 9th July 2018(10:00AM to 05:00PM)

Processing of Seat Allotment: 10th July 2018 to 11th July 2018

Result: 12th July 2018

Reporting: 13th July 2018 to 22nd July 2018

Transfer of Non-Reporting & Non Joining Vacant Seats to State Quota: (Before 12 Noon) 23rd July 018(Only 15% All India Quota)

Mop-Up Round

Regestration/Payment & Choice Filling: 12th August 2018 to 14th July 2018 05:00PM

Choice Filling/Locking: 15th August 2018 (10:00AM to 05:00PM)

Processing of Seat Allotment: 16th August 2018

Result: 17th August 2018

Reporting:  18th August 2018 to 26th August 2018

Transfer of Non-Reporting &Non Joining seat to Deemed/ Central Universities for Mop-up: 27th August 2018
