Mumbai University UG Result 2017 not to be declared on 31st July

Mumbai University Examination papers that are assessing through the new online marking system have not be declared on July 31st, teachers stated. This move comes against Maharashtra Governor C H Vidyasagar Rao as he asked the university to maintain the deadline for the result announcement. This year result would be available after 15 days of the deadline. Students who have appeared for the examination of UG courses can check their results on the official websites of Mumbai University i.e., mu.ac.in. The Governor C H Vidyasagar Rao is the Vice Chancellor of the University and he asked the authority to declare all the pending results by 31st July 2017. According to the media reports, authority and the members of the Maharashtra Federation of University and College Teachers have criticised the state government for the delay and it’s making all the students anxious about their result.

As per the reports, teachers have to enter their mobile number and the One Time Password received every time when they assess the papers. The OSM then takes almost 30 minutes for loading each page of every answer sheet as the speed is slow. So, in short,  it took a time to upload all the answer sheets online by 31st July. Although the University has not announced any official date for declaring results. There are around lakhs of students who are eagerly waiting for their admission results.

The teachers and the members of MFUCTO questioned as who will take a charge for the loss that students are facing the following result delay. Those lakhs of students have missed the chance of getting admission in other universities for further studies. And those lakhs of students will waste their academic year due to this result delay that causes the University failure.
