The Mumbai University has already missed three deadlines of releasing its results 2017 but now it seems that the results will see the light of the day. As per the reports, the results might get declared in two stages and that also will happen only when a proposal will be put forwarded by the Maharashtra Education ministry. Vinod Tawde, the education minister today said that the government of Maharashtra was considering the release of the assessed examination papers of Mumbai University soon, instead of waiting for assessment of all the papers to be complete.
The proposal to release the final year results of various streams in two stages has been sent to the examination department to check if it would be legally permissible. As per the reports released by the Mumbai University yesterday evening nearly 16,00,257 papers have been checked so far, while 1,50,674 papers are yet to be assessed.
Taking the favor of the students, the Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao said that the results will be declared as soon as possible and no student should suffer in account of the delay of the results as it is the fault of the managing committee not the students. The University’s acting Vice-Chancellor Devanand Shinde who has been given the charge of cleaning up the mess created by his predecessors confirmed that the university will now not focus on deadlines but will only do the job of completing the assessment and declaring the results as soon as possible.
After much of the delay, the students are worried and frustrated too. We wish that the results get declared soon.
