Mumbai University Result 2017 for remaining courses to be declared on 19 September at mu.ac.in

Mumbai University Result 2017 has yet to announce the results of 13 courses on 19th September. This year results delayed due to the news online answer sheets assessment process of undergraduate and postgraduate exams. As per the reports, the University has come to light after the faculty has ignored the queries of the office of university chancellor and Governor of Maharashtra, Ch Vidyasagar Rao. The University has delayed results because of the new onscreen assessment process that involves a time taking scanning of more than 18 lakh answer sheets.

The Mumbai University had asked an agency to implement new idea some days before the result announcement. And the teacher was informed on the priority basis to give utmost importance to completing the assessment assigned to them. They were also asked to compromise their vacation in order to dedicate their time for the paper correction. all the teachers tried their best but technical errors created hurdles. Due to the delay in the Mumbai University result declaration, the law colleges have extended the date for admissions to three-year law courses across Maharashtra.

The University is now likely to complete the entire process of the answer sheets assessment by declaring the results and issuing mark sheet of the undergraduate courses by 19th September. The officials of University told the Bombay High Court that they are trying to issue the results of all the remaining courses soon by September 19. And further, the University is directed to extend the Common Entrance Test deadline of filling up online forms for the three-year courses till 22 September from it the earlier deadline of 31st August.
