Mumbai University 2017 result updates: Around 28,000 answer sheets are still missing

Mumbai University 2017 results postponed due to the new answer sheet assessment process. And now the officials of the University reported that the results of 75, 000 students are still pending. While there were the rumors that more than 28,400 answer sheets misplaced or not found, the results of eight of the 477 examinations are still pending. The number of the students are waiting and getting anxious for their results as the University still not able to release the results. As per the reports, the University is claiming that they have misplaced the answer booklets as they couldn’t found it in the warehouse.

The Mumbai University has delayed the results of the various undergraduate and postgraduate courses this year due to the online assessment process. According to the University, the officials blamed the faculties for result delay. Over 17.65 lakh answer sheets have evaluated this year from which around 6.87 lakh had to be moderated. So, the total figure was above 24 lakh that makes the assessment process more lengthy for the teachers.

The University has also announced the tentative dates for the Common Entrance Test of the current batch students. And it has received around 22,000 applications for the re-evaluation of the papers from students. Due to the delay in results, the CET application date has extended to 22nd September and the exam of MA MSc will be conducted in the second week of November and the end of December.
