MHT-CET 2018 Exam pattern and syllabus have released by the DTE Maharashtra today. The examination for the admission in the engineering and pharmacy courses has announced the paper pattern and syllabus. The (DTE) or Directorate of Technical Education announced it on Wednesday for the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test(MHT-CET) 2018. The examination which will be conducted in may 2018, hasn’t revealed the release date, but it’ll be soon updated as per the sources. The syllabus which is marking to be based on the (MSBSHSE) or Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education course.

The weight of total 80% will be given to the syllabus of class 12th syllabus, and 20% weightage will be for class 11th, focusing 12th syllabus to be the major one. DTE, also notified that there will be no negative marking but there will be a tough level in physics, chemistry, and maths, which will be par with JEE Mains. And for biology, there will be difficult level in NEET.

The format of the paper will be an offline mode with MCQ or Multiple Choice Questions. The exam will have three parts, part one will have mathematics, part two will have physics and chemistry and part three will have biology which would include zoology and botany. And a total of 100 marks weightage will be given to these three parts. The separation of the marks will be for paper one, each question will be carrying two marks while the part two and part three will have one mark for every right answer.
