JOSAA: Joint Seat Allocation Authority declares result of second allotment 2017, Check http://josaa.nic.in

JOSAA, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority has finally declared its result for the second allotment 2017. This seat allotment has been done for 97 institutes under the Central Seat Allocation Board including 31 NIT’s, 23 IITs, 23 IIIT’s and 20 other government-funded technical institutes. Candidates who have cleared the Joint entrance examination are eligible for the seat allocation 2017. They can check their seat allotment on the official website of JOSAA i.e., josaa.nic.in. The joint seat Allocation authority conducts seven rounds of seat allocation for the academic programs of the year 2017-18. Candidates have to accept the allotment by paying fees and to get their documents verified at the reporting centre.

JOSAA is responsible for the counseling of engineering aspirants in various engineering and technical institutes across the country. Candidates those who have registered themselves for the counseling procedure will now check their second seat allotment result by visiting the official site and click on the tab of the second round seat allotment process by giving their JEE Main 2017 roll number and password. There are around 7,520 seats are vacant after the first round of seat allotment and a total number of 1960 seats are vacant for the engineering course at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology across India including institutes in cities like IIT Bombay and IIT Delhi.

Recently JOSAA had announced the rank and first round of selection. Selected candidates have to secure their seats as soon as possible. Ans the candidates of the first round selection who wants to withdraw their seats have to withdraw before the releasing of seventh seat allotment.
