The JoSAA 2017 third seat allotment result has been declared today on the official website i.e., josaa.nic.in. The JoSAA announced third seat allotment after the Supreme Court’s permission. And now IIT has also released the new counselling schedule for the engineering aspirants as apex court restrained the ongoing counselling on July 7th due to a petition that challenged the decision of IIT’s on bonus marks for the JEE Advanced 2017 questions. The process of acceptance of third round seat allotment will begin from July 11 from 10 am to 5 pm. And this process will end at 1 pm on July 13th. As per now this schedule has been released by the department of JoSAA and the rest of the information will be announced soon.
According to the previous schedule the seat allocation of round 3 have to begin on July 7th. And there are seven total number of rounds for the seat allocation. In the first seat allotment round approximately 11000 candidates and 994 female candidates were shortlisted for the further admission process. The JoSAA has started online registration process and the choice filling from June 15. And they have to secure admission in their desirable institutes by July 3. There are around 36000 seats are available in 23 Indian Institute of Technology IIT, 36 NIT National Institutes of Technology, 23 Indian Institute of Information Technology and 20 government funded technical institutes to offer admissions to the students. Students can check their seat allotment through online by visiting official website and filling up all the required details that are needed. And at last take out the printout of your seat allotment for the future reference.
