Jawahar Lal Nehru university has now extended the date for applying for admission in the university to 17th November. At first, the deadline for application had been 13th October. The applications are available for the academic year 2018-2019. The last date has been extended because of university is still going through all the applications and the seats available for the various courses are: 720 seats in M.Phil/PhD, 1,118 seats in MA, M.Sc, M.Tech and MPH courses, and 459 seats BA programmes. The application process would be open till 5:30 pm and the candidates are advised to open the site on Internet explorer so that they don’t encounter any problems with the sending the application.
The candidates are all advised to put their information correctly, starting from the formal names and their address. The Email-Id should also be mentioned properly and shouldn’t be a fake or belonging to someone else.
It is important that the candidate fill the application in one sitting and not try to do many corrections because they won’t be allowed to do much alteration once they’ve put all the information.
It is necessary for the candidates to “SAVE” the application because it will die down in 20-15 minutes and they won’t be allowed to change anything else.
