JKPSC KAS mains exam schedule changed due to harsh conditions

Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission has made an official notification that the Combined Competitive Examination is going to be postponed. KAS mains exam was scheduled to take place tomorrow but it is postponed now. The exam is postponed due to the roads blocked. Road blockage on the national highway has made the authority to postpone the exam. Harsh weather and heavy snowfall in Kashmir has blocked the roads. Many candidates have appealed to the authority for the postpone of the examination.

This exam was scheduled to take place on February 15, 2018. The date when this was scheduled was November 7, 2017. The exams were scheduled to take place from February 15 to March 8, 2018. As per the schedule, the exam which was scheduled to conduct was General Studies (Paper 1) and General English paper on February 15, 2018 and General Studies (Paper 2) and Essay in English papers on February 17, 2018. These two exams has been postponed. The exam of February 15 and 17 is postponed. The new dates of the exams are yet not confirmed. The rest exams will remain same i.e. from February 19 to March 8 the exams which was already scheduled will take place.

The full Commission of J&K Public Service Commission in its meeting held on Wednesday viewed the arrangements and made the decision for the postponing of the exams. The KAS admit card can be downloaded from the official website. There will be a webpage which will ask the login id and password, by completing all the details the admit card will be downloaded. The admit card important information regarding the center name, about student and the examination centre, including name of the candidate, date of birth, roll number, exam centre name and address, along with other major instructions regarding exams. Candidates must keep a check on the website for the postponed exam.
