JEE Mains 2018: Application process begins; Board allowed diabetic students to carry fruits

JEE mains 2018 application process has started form today. So, the candidates who are interested to appear for the examination of JEE mains exam 2018 can now fill the application form at https://jeemain.nic.in/. This year the Cbse board has decided to allow candidates to carry eatables like fruit and water to the examination hall who have diabetes or any other minor disease. Along with the application form, the Central Board of Secondary Education has also released the information booklet for the Joint Entrance Examination mains 2018. The eatables like sugar tablets, fruits and transparent water bottle are only allowed for the students who are suffering from diabetes.

However, the board have cleared that tea, coffee, cold drinks and snacks are not permitted in the examination hall. And also packed food like candy, toffee, chocolates and sandwiches are not allowed to take in the exam hall. Candidates can check the other prohibited items list on the official website of the board. As per the list, candidates are not permitted to take the Textual material, Calculators, Docu Pen, Slide rules, Log tables, Electronic watches, Other devices.

They are just allowed to carry Admit card, Identity proof and PWD certificates. As per the reports, the application process for JEE main 2018 began from today on 1st December 2017. The last date to apply for the exam is 1st January 2018. And the Jee mains exam to be conducted in April month 2018.
