JEE Main 2018: Registration to begin from December 1

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the date for the registration of the Joint Entrance Examination mains 2018 from 1 December. The candidates will now be able to download the information about the examination from the official website of JEE (jeemain.nic.in). JEE Mains examination will be conducted on April 8, 2018, through pen and paper, and then it’ll be held in computer-based mode on April 15 and 16, 2018. All of the official details and information, including the registration process will be held only online, and the candidates are requested to upload their Adhar card numbers so that there is no further problem in their authentication process.

The examination is Hindi and English medium, and the candidates will have to mention on their forms in which medium they want to write their papers.

The fees for the examination is Rs 1000 for boys from general categories, and Rs 250 for those who fall under the reserved category. But for candidate who will be appearing for exams, the fees is Rs 1,800 to Rs 650.

The Paper 1 will be for students who will be appearing for BE and BTech; mostly the paper will involve objective questions from physics, chemistry and mathematics. Paper 2 will be for candidates who want to get into BArch or BPlan; it’ll involve objective questions on mathematics, Aptitude and drawing test. All the questions will be objective.
