IGNOU has released the application form for Ph.D and M.Phil courses. The date of exam is March 4, 2018. The exam will take place at selected centers in all over the country. The last date of filling the application form is February 16, 2018. Application of M.Phil in sociology, Political Science, Economics, Geography, Social work, Commerce, Chemistry and distance education.
Special eligibility criteria is set for the candidates who are applying for M.Phil in sociology. To check the liable criteria, the candidate must visit the official website for checking the criteria. Bio-Chemistry, Physics, Life Science disciplines would not have any entrance exam. The admission to these courses will take place through different eligibility criteria. From today, the candidates can apply for the M.Phil and Ph.D course as the application form are released today. The candidates who are interested in joining the July 2018 course can apply for the application before February 16, 2018. The span of Ph.D is 5 years and the span of M.Phil is 4 years. Indira Gandhi National Open University has scheduled to conduct the M.Phil and Ph.D exam on March 4, 2018.
Candidates who will qualify the first test will be called for the second round where an interview will take place and the presentation of synopsis will take place. The qualified student list will be available on April 6, 2018. All the qualified student will be sent an offer letter and then the student can join the university from July 2018. The minimum educational qualification required is Master’s degree from a recognized university. The candidate must have scored 55% marks for the unreserved category and 50% marks for the reserved category. This exam will take place at various centers. Only Indian nationality candidate can apply for this. The candidate must carry the ID proof at the time of examination. Candidate must also carry the educational documents during the time of interview.
