IBPS CWE Clerks VII 2017: Notification for 7884 posts released at ibps.in

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released a notification for the clerk examination 2017 via Common Recruitment Process (CWE Clerk VII). The candidates who are interested and want to check the notification, need to visit the official website, ibps.in. The institute this time have released 7884 jobs for the bank clerks this time which is 60 % less than the previous year as in 2016, IBPS released 19,243 vacancies and 19 banks participated in the whole recruitment process.

As per the notifications by the institute, the online registration process will begin from September 12 and will end by October 10 and it will conduct the preliminary examination in December. The online examination will be conducted in two stages, preliminary and main. The candidates will be provisionally allotted on April 2018.

The eligibility criteria for the examination is that the candidate has to be an Indian national and the age limit for the interested candidates is that he/she should not be less than 20 years and not above 28 years which means that the candidate should not be born later than September 1, 1997. It should also be noted that there is a relaxation for the reserved category. The educational qualification for the post is that the candidate must have acquired a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent and it might be Central Government. The candidates should also have good computer knowledge and should also have passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC/HSC/ Intermediate/Graduation Level.

The application fees for the general category is Rs 600 and the fees for the reserved category is Rs 100. The important dates that the candidates should follow for the examination are: Registration/fee payment will begin on September 12, 2017, the last date to apply or fee payment is October 10, 2017, Pre exam training call letter will be released on November 2017, Pre exam training will start from November 13 to 18, 2017,Preliminary exam call letter will be released in November 2017, Preliminary exam will commence from December 2, 3, 9 and 10, 2017, Preliminary exam result will be declared in December, Main exam call letter will be released in January, 2018,  Online exam main will commence from January 21, 2018 and the Provisional allotment will start from April 2018.

The preliminary examination will be computer based where the candidates will be given objective type questions of 100 marks and it has to be completed in one hour. the examination will be conducted in three sections in the mentioned ways: Numerical ability will be of 35 questions and of 35 marks, English language will be of 30 questions and of 30 marks and Reasoning ability will be of 35 marks and will be of 35 marks.
