Gujarat Board exams have begun today for Class 10th and Class 12th. These exams are scheduled to begin on March 12, 2018. The class 10th exams will continue till March 23 whereas the exams of Class 12th will continue till March 28. Students who are appearing for this must visit the official website for checking all the information regarding the board exams. For the Class 10th the exam which is scheduled first is Language whereas for the Class 12th the exam which is scheduled at first is Physics. Approximately 18 lakh students are appearing for this. These exams are scheduled at 908 centers. All the arrangments have been made at the examination center to make the exam go well.
Science students of Class 12th are provided with 140 centers and 500 centers are for the common stream ones. The exam security has been increased to a new level this time. CCTV cameras will be installed and all the monitoring of the camera will be made at the headquarters. This is done so that no foul means could be initiated and the exams are done calmly. The approximate number of candidates appearing for Class 10th is 11,03,674 whereas for the Class 12th is 1,34,671 for the science stream students, 4,76,434 is the strength for the common stream. This year the strength has been increased.
The exams for the common stream of Class 12th will end on March 28, 2018. Candidates must follow all the instructions which are provided by the board. Candidates are not permitted to enter late. Private students will also appear for this. Separate sitting arrangements are made for this. Approximately 63000 students are appearing for the private exams. Their sitting arrangement is just different from the regular students. The board will provide question paper even in Braille so that the blind students can also appear for the same. This thing has been introduced for the first time.
