CBSE has released the official notification of UGC NET on their official website. According to the notification, the exam will take place on July 8, 2018. This examination is conducted for the Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor. The exam will be conducted in two phases, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates can fill the application form till April 6, 2018. Candidate must know the age limit before applying for the exam. Candidate of age 28 to 30 years is the last for appearing for this exam. The pattern of filling the application form is same as the last year.
Candidate must follow the steps given below in order to fill the application form:
- Candidate must visit the official website cbsenet.nic.in
- Candidate will be directed to a web portal.
- Candidate will have to make a candidate login and password.
- Candidate has to fill all the details regarding the application form.
- By clicking on submitting, the registration for the exam will be done.
The fees for the application form can be paid till April 6. The exam will be conducted in two phases. Paper 1 will consist of 50 questions and carrying 100 marks. Paper 1 will be a general aptitude assess the candidate’s teaching and research aptitude. This exam will take place 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Paper 2 will be about the subjects one has chosen. It will consist of 100 question. Each question carrying 2 marks, the total being of 200 marks. This paper is of 2 hours. It will take place at 11 am and will conclude at 1 pm. The main area in which the question paper will deal in is Reasoning Ability, Comprehensive, Divergent thinking and General Aviation. Candidate will get their admit card just a week or two-week before the exam. No candidate above the age of 30 years can appear for this exam.
