CBSE Class 10th Board Results declared ahead of its scheduled time

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared its 10th Board results on 29th May 2018 today at around 01:45pm instead of its scheduled time of 04:00pm on its official websites – cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in.  The result can also be checked on examresults.net, Microsoft SMS Organizer app, www.google.com, www.bing.com and UMANG app.

The secretary of school education and literacy, Anil Swarup with the Union ministry of human resource development announced the date and time for the result in a tweet on Monday. “Results of CBSE Class 10 examinations for 2017-18 to be declared by 4 pm on 29th of May, 2018,” he had tweeted while the result’s date and time was confirmed by the board on Friday.  The secretary also wished Best Wishes to the students for their future.  The students must be ready with their details and their admit cards to check the results.

 

The CBSE Class 10th board exams were conducted from March 5 2018 to April 4 2018, whereas Class 12 board examinations were held between March 5 2018 and April 13 2018. CBSE Class 12th Board Exam results were declared earlier by the board on May 26 2018, Saturday on CBSE’s official website.

In 2017, CBSE class 10th result went down from 96.21 per cent in 2016 to 90.95 per cent. But the pass percentage of boys had improved from the year 2016, jumping from 78.9 per cent to 93.4 per cent while the pass percentage of girls also improved from 88.6 per cent to 92.5 per cent.

This year more than 28 lakh students had appeared for the CBSE board exam 2018 out of which more than 16 lakh students had appeared for Class 10th exams while the remaining 11.86 lakh students had appeared for Class 12th exams.

 

Steps by which the students can check their 10th Board Results:

Step 1: Once the results are declared visit cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the link CBSE 10th Board Exam Results 2018.

Step 3: Once the link opens fill in the Roll No. Roll Code along with the details asked on the webpage.

Step 4: When the details are filled click Submit.

Step 5: The results will be displayed on the webpage. Download the results or take a printout of the result for future use.
