CAT Result 2017 is expected to be declared soon. So, the candidates who have appeared for the Common Admission Test can access their results soon at iimcat.ac.in. Every year the Indian Institute of Management conducted the Common Admission Test 2017 for the candidates who are seeking admission into the prestigious management institutes. The CAT marks used for the admission into the management colleges across the country. The Indian Institute of Management will soon likely to release the results of the CAT entrance exam 2017 by 7th or 8th January 2018. The students are advised to keep a check on the official website of the institute to access CAT result.

However, the institute has not released any official notification for the CAT 2017 results. The CAT 2017 exam was conducted by Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow on 26th November 2017 across the 140 test centres in India. According to the sources, around 2.31 lakh students have appeared for the examination. As per the several media reports, the institute was expected to release the CAT results by 5th January 2018. The candidates who crack the CAT 2017 exam will be shortlisted for the interview directly. The shortlisting criteria of IIM Lucknow vary for every management institutes.

The candidates can follow some instructions to download and check their CAT results. The first and the foremost step is to visit the official website of the IIM Lucknow at iimcat.ac.in. Then click on the Score Card link of CAT 2017 results. And then fill up all the required details such as name, roll number and enrollment number. Also, the candidates are advised to download and take out the printout of the results for the future reference. In 2017, the presidents Ramnath Kovind has approved the Indian Institute of Management Bill which has got power to award degrees instead of diplomas to the graduates. With the new bill, the management institutes got more autonomy.
