The UP Board Result 2017 is one of the most eagerly awaited board exam results in the country. The Uttar Pradesh Class 12 and Class 10 board exam results for 2017 are expected to be declared by the end of May. According to a recent media report, several efforts have been put in by the board to curb mass cheating in UP board exams in the wake of the recent reports. These efforts included cancelling of exam in specific subjects across certain centres, debarment of certain centres from conducting exams and FIRs against centre superintendents and invigilators for facilitating cheating. Owing to this there was a delay in the evaluation process of answer sheets which ultimately lead to the delay in the declaration of UP Board result 2017.
There was also a delay in conducting the exams because of the UP assembly elections. Even though the possibility of the results being out in the 3rd or 4th week of May is tentative, there are chances the results could further be delayed to June. Nearly 60 lakh students are awaiting their results this year for Class 10 and Class 12, out of this nearly 34 lakh students are from Class 10 while 26 lakh students are awaiting their intermediate results. Such high number of students make it an elaborate task for the board, logistically and otherwise to make sure the results and evaluation is error- free.
The result can be checked on the official websites i.e. www.upresults.nic.in and upmsp.nic.in , once it has been declared.
