BIS has made an official statement for the release of the admit card. Candidates who had filled the application form must download the admit card from the official website i.e. bis.gov.in . The official statement reads that the admit card will be released on April 7, 2018. The Bureau of Indian Standards has scheduled the exam to take place on April 15, 2018. Admit cards for Bureau of Indian Standards for the Scientist B post will be available till April 14, 2018. The exam will take place in 45 cities across the country. Candidates who had applied must be between the age group of 21-30 years. The question paper will contain all the questions from reasoning, English language, technical knowledge and quantitative aptitude. The total marks of the question paper will be of 200 marks.

The question paper will be available in two languages i.e. English as well as in Hindi. The total duration of the BIS exam is 2 hours. Negative marking for the wrong answers will also take place. The candidate who wants to get the exam cleared must score 50% in technical knowledge and minimum 100 marks in total. Those who will clear the written exam will be qualified to appear for the interview rounds. Candidates must carry the admit card and identity proof to the examination hall. Without the admit card and identity proof applicant will not be allowed to appear for the exam. Identity cards can be anything like PAN Card or Passport or Permanent Driving Licence or Voter’s Card.

Applicant must reach the examination center an hour before the exam as the candidate has to do many formalities. The application form was released on March 16 and concluded on April 2, 2018. Candidates must download the admit card from the official website. Applicants can visit the official website i.e. bis.gov.in . Candidates can check all the updates on the official website.
