81.89 percent students have passed the exams of Gujarat Secondary Education Board (GSEB)

Today Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) results have declared for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) class 12 board exams. In 2017 total 17,59,225 candidates have appeared for the class 10 and 12 Gujarat board exams. While Last year in 2016, 5,65,359 students had appeared. So Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their results on the official website gseb.org or www.gseb.org and the mark sheets for the fourth and second semesters are likely to be distributed from 11 am today. This year Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board conducted the 12th class examination in the month of March 2017 (15 March – 30 March). The GSEB HSC Science Exam 2017 began on 21 March and ended on 30 March. 81.89 students have passed in 2017 results.

  • Take a printout of your GSEB score card 2017 for your future reference

Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board is a government of Gujarat school education board. The Gujarat Board set up in the year 1960 and its headquarter is located at Gandhi Nagar. It is very popular board in the Gujarat State. The Board also performs the duties of recognising new schools, performance evaluation of schools and inspections of various schools associated with the Board. This is similar to the pattern of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) where students have to score a minimum of 33 per cent in the written exams to pass the class 10 and 12 boards.

Last year in 2016, 5,65,359 students had appeared for the Gujarat HSC exams in which passing percentage of boys was 86.54 percent and the passing percentage of girls was 87.76 percent. Overall passing percentage stood at 88.73 percent. In this Gujarat HSC exams, students will need to score 20 percent in each written exam and 35 percent average among all subjects to pass the Gujarat HSC class 12 exams.
